Russell Kaurloto is a strategic IT executive with over 30 years of experience leading digital modernization and technical transformation across higher education, healthcare, government, research, and global media. He provided technical leadership in modernizing ERP and EMR ecosystems, strengthening cybersecurity, and building resilient cloud, datacenter, and network architectures.
He most recently served as Senior Executive IT Advisor to Texas A&M University, where he led organizational restructuring, governance modernization, and technology alignment for one of the nation’s largest R1 institutions. Russell also served in CIO and senior executive leadership roles at the University of Denver, Clemson University, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, the City of Los Angeles, and the University of Southern California, where he delivered major advancements in AI adoption, research computing, enterprise systems, cloud strategy, and digital application infrastructure.
Russell is pursuing an Executive PhD in Business, holds degrees in Organizational Leadership and Computer Technology, and is recognized for building high-performing teams and technology environments that delivered measurable institutional outcomes.
