In his current role, Malcolm’s primary responsibility is to maximize GTM’s clients’ ability to sell their products, services and solutions to the Higher Education marketplace. After qualifying the needs on campus, he connects campus leadership with the GTM client that can provide an appropriate solution.

Prior to joining The GTM Group, Malcolm served as VP Business Development for Apogee Telecom, a provider of managed networking solutions serving Higher Education. He worked primarily with C-Suite leaders, assisting them with determining the technology solutions needed to help achieve the institution’s strategic plans.

Prior to Apogee, Malcolm was Director of Business Development at The Huron Consulting Group, serving Higher Education institutions, Academic Medical Centers and Healthcare Providers in the areas of Strategy & Operations, Research and Technology. He represented the full suite of services provided by Huron and identified ways to bring value to the client by learning their unique environment, understanding their needs and helping organize the resources best suited to serve the client.

Preceeding Huron, Malcolm was a Client Services Advisor with Deloitte. He was responsible for the strategic business-development process, which included developing strategic pursuit plans, building and managing client relationships, helping coordinate service-delivery teams and monitoring client satisfaction.
