Bill Rogers founded Focal Point Government Advisors in 2018 following a distinguished career specializing in State and Local Government. With more than 45 years of experience across the U.S. public sector landscape, Bill brings extensive government relations expertise and deep relationships across the public sector and technology vendor community.

Through Focal Point Government Advisors, Bill provides consulting and strategic advisory services to technology, systems integration, and consulting firms operating in the State of Texas. His extensive experience enables him to help organizations navigate the complexities of state and local government and identify opportunities to effectively engage with public-sector stakeholders.

Bill’s career includes serving as National Vice President at First Data, along with senior leadership positions at IBM Global Business and CGI. He also spent many years at BearingPoint (formerly KPMG Consulting), where he served as a Managing Director.

Bill earned a bachelor’s degree in Business from The University of Texas at Austin. A longtime Austin resident, he takes great pride in his family’s Texas heritage, which dates back to 1846 and the founding of Luckenbach, Texas.
